The 6” Minimal is the mattress best suited for all functions of this lounger. It folds easily for the chair postion and lounger. The other 4 mattress will not fold to make the chair position. If you pick another mattress other than the 6” Minimal, You must always leave it as a lounger or bed.

6” Minimal - *Recommended mattress for all functions of this lounger. Our starter futon mattress is superior to most basic futons found online. Combining custom-blended premium Joy cotton batting with 1½” inches of foam core. This futon offers comfortable sleeping and seating. Flexible enough for futon loungers and tri-fold futons. This mattress can be easily stored as an extra guest bed.
7” Feathertouch - Soft - The FeatherTouch mattress has chiropractic-recommended finger foam, layered with custom-blended premium Joy cotton batting. 8” Double Foam - Firm -Inspired by traditional futons, this futon is filled with densely compacted cotton and 2 layers of foam. Firm but with good support, this mattress is famed for its durability and back support.
